Position Summary:  
As our Financial Business Analyst, you’ll support the business intelligence and operations teams in utilizing both financial and business data to identify areas for improvement and drive process changes in the organization. 
  
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance 
  • Prepare reports and projections based on this analysis 
  • Collect and analyze data for potential business expansion 
  • Identify specific business opportunities 
  • Influence stakeholders to support business projects 
  • Lead projects and coordinate with other teams to improve business outcomes 
  • Evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation 
  • Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement 
  • Provide financial models and forecasting 
  • Coordinate with other team members to review financial information and forecasts 
  • Perform other duties as assigned   
Desired Qualifications: 
  • 2-3 years  of experience in finance analysis or related field   
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills 
  • Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills 
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements 
  • Strong math aptitude 
  • Proficiency in MS Office with experience using PC-based accounting and spreadsheet programs 
  • Highly accurate with attention to detail and confidentiality 
  • Effective organizational and time management skills 
  • Comfortable working with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, related field; CPA or CMA is a plus.  
Physical Demands and Abilities:
  • Regularly use office equipment and computers for extended periods of time 
  • Frequently work on projects requiring deadlines 
  • Comfortable reviewing and entering information into a computer 
  • Able to move from sitting to standing positions, bend, twist, & use hands and fingers 
  • See details of objects that are less than a few feet away 
  • Can speak clearly so listeners can understand, and listen to understand another person 
  • Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds
