POSITION SUMMARY: 
 
As our Electrical Coordinator you’ll be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of utility disconnects and reconnects with homeowners and utility companies. In this role you’ll communicate with city or county inspectors to schedule inspections and meter releases, and coordinate with the local operations team to ensure projects get necessary changes needed to pass final inspection.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 
  • Assist the Electrical Production Manager with scheduling and overseeing the installation of all electrical-related equipment. 
  • Review inspections list and identify inspections that are ready to be scheduled 
  • Remotely assess potential installation sites to determine feasibility and design requirements 
  • Communicate with municipalities for updates or to discuss any issues that may prevent the inspection from passing 
  • Complete permit revision paperwork 
  • Print plans per AHJ and SOW requirements 
  • Upload inspection results and corrections to CRM portal 
  • Prepare and update reports for Weekly Meeting 
  • Maintain expense reports for daily transactions and submit weekly for checks and monthly for all credit card transactions 
  • Answer customer questions regarding inspections 
  • Deliver excellent customer experience and escalate customer concerns as necessary 
  • Enforce Safety Standard Operating Procedures with the support of the Electrical Production Manager 
  • Attend weekly webinars or departmental calls 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 
 DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of administrative and customer service experience
  • Experience interfacing with municipal electrical departments, building departments, and relevant internal departments 
  • 1 year of solar industry experience preferred
  • Must be able to multitask, manage multiple projects, and work on projects with deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills required
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders, understand specifications, and manage workflow while multitasking 
  • Comfortable with discretion and confidentiality
  • Must have outstanding follow-through.
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license
