POSITION SUMMARY:
The Underwriting Coordinator focuses on the front-end (pre-install) submission and securing financing for all projects. The Underwriting Coordinator processes finance documents for all of Freedom Forevers solar projects, regardless of the finance company. This position is responsible for the efficient handling of work orders, submission of stipulations, and improving the productivity of other departments by coordinating all front-end interaction with Freedom Forevers finance partners.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with Finance Companies to submit documents and verify customer and system specifications
- Answer all incoming phone calls from customers in a timely manner
- Confirm data accuracy in documents, finance portals and invoices
- Remain up to date with Project stages and statuses
- Follow up on aging projects and maintain secure financing through extensions, project progress, and interaction with finance partners
- Provide updates to Operations, sales and customer records to reflect project statuses
- Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
- Dispatch Service calls per customer requests
- Communicate important project information between finance partners, sales, and operations
- Communicate important feedback from customers to management
- Ensure processing targets are met and report any deviations
- Provide support to Sales Support and Dealer Partners to help reach the teams objectives
- Dealing with and responding to high volumes of emails
- Other duties as assigned

- Proven work experience as an administrator or Sales support agent
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- High organizational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time
- Hands-on experience with MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Ability to prioritize own workload

- Must be detail-oriented

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work.)
