Position Summary:

If you’ve got electrical skills and a Journeyman’s or Limited Electrician license, we have opportunities for you! We’re Freedom Forever, a Solar Company known for quality and innovation, and we’re looking for electricians who want to build their career in solar! 

As our Electrician, you’ll be providing the technical expertise to safely plan and perform electrical work for residential solar projects. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assemble all components of a residential solar system 
• Work with the crew and complete Photovoltaic system installs (PV)
• Ensure that the work is performed in a workmanlike manner and compliant with all State and local codes and standards
• Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and Utility requirements
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
• Follow safe work practices
• Provide quality customer service throughout the installation
• Document work by taking pictures and completing work orders
• Upload photos and update job status in the company database when work is complete
• Strong knowledge and experience of conduit bending (EMT) ability to consistently produce quality work

 Qualifications Requirements:

• Journeyman or Limited Electrician Licensed Required
• Qualified to drive a company vehicle during the workday
• Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
• Strong knowledge of current NEC codes
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license
• Use time prioritization skills to achieve required timelines
• Skills using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret single and three-line drawings
• Able to lift 50+ pounds throughout the workday
• High school diploma, GED
